The Rainmaker

She the summer, he the rain..
She the fire, he the water…
She the pain, he the heal…
She the desire, he the dream…

Life turned on a dime for her. It was like a white noise; all serene , calm but never void…
He ushered into her summer sky scattering mystic enchantment. He set free her bounded spirit. They say rain and summer could never unite. But lovers do never meet, they are in each other all along…
He drizzled onto her, slowly and endlessly. Suddenly this rain!. the yellow and the amber turns to the blues and the grays…. she thought it was her frivolous defeat.. but she somehow loved the scent of rain… she somehow loved the blue hues.. she somehow loved the snow, the dews…
She somehow loved the drenching new…
She deliberately gave into the sweet defeat.. she was soaked in love… It was like snow in the March months.. His soft hands chiseled her heart with a splendour love.
No, the rain did not put off her fire…no, the rain did not smote her in the ashes.. No, the rain didn’t bore holes into her heart. The rain gave her a new birth. He taught her carefree mirth.
Yes, she burnt brighter but with soothing flames…
Yes, she learnt that power was not always in winning.. Power was also in getting defeated in love…Power was also in kneeling down to the paramour..
He washed down her wall of conscience just to find a fragile core, burnt red and crumbling to pieces…
The rain fell and fell, slowly and subtly caressing her body, calming her mind and completing her soul…filling the cracks, breaking the bonds and bringing her back to life. She bathed in his love and she realised she was not the same.
She now burns in blue flames, gaining back her divinity.. He reveals the power to protect her. Now her summer sky is never as scorching before, instead it had the rainbow of love…
They were wrong.. Though illicit might it seem, fire and ice do meet.. meet for the good.. its not always destruction in the end..they suffice in each other, they create miracles… they create the Rainbow!
